A major warning is being issued to the heating systems market. Invicta, a leader in this field, is recalling its pellet stove models following an alert broadcast on September 30, 2024, reporting potential risks of electrocution.
The domestic heating revolution in France was marked by the arrival of wood pellets, also known as pellets, barely two decades ago. The latter have conquered the hearts of many homes, thus transforming the domestic heating industry. Today, however, a major warning has been issued to users of the model Nuova Lodi from the Invicta brand, market leader.
Invicta has just recalled its models of pellet stoves throughout French territory, following the revelation of potential threats of electric shocks and burns. Three references are mainly in the crosshairs: the P641977 (Lodi 10 red), P641978 (Lodi 10 gray) and P641974 (Lodi 10 black), sold in France since June 15, 2015.
These heating devices, widely distributed in the brands of Bricomarché, Bricorama, Mr Bricolage, Leroy Merlin, Castorama, C Discount, and many other stores, could present electrical malfunctions putting users in danger.
The Invicta brand takes this alert issued on September 30, 2024 and made available a service number (0974996834) to organize the “upgrading the stove with an additional kit”. This gesture aims to reassure and protect its customers against possible risks linked to the use of these heating devices.
